PIXARFEST!

The past Sunday my family and I decided to be brave and head towards beautiful hot Anaheim and visit the happiest place on earth!!! Yep! We went to DISNEYLAND! We had such a blast that I wanted to share all my finds!!

Lets start with some essentials needed before traveling to this magical place!

Tip #1 Bring your own drinks! (and lunch if you want too!)

You can enter the park with water and other non glass items. We personally took water and gatorades in a small soft cooler.

Tip #2 Wear sunblock!! Though it may not be bright, you can still get sun burned!

Tip #3 It's hot during the day, but gets chilly at night, so pack a sweater or a blanket.

Tip #4 Give yourself parking time!! Disneyland opens 8A - midnight (most days) but make sure to add parking time into your day, lines tend to be long and there's a good chance you get sent over to the overflow parking structures.

Now with that out of the way! Let me share the new finds with PIXARFEST!!!

You can find amazing food treats in Disney's CA Adventure CarsLand! Like these!

Top Left: Esquite aka Corn Cup. Delicious sweet yellow corn topped with cheese, chili and lime!

Top Right: Chilli!! Chilli beans topped with cheddar cheese and chilly cheese fritos

Bottom: Turkey habanero meatballs

This special COCO churro can be found in CA Adventure near Monsters Inc.

Sweet and crunchy cinnamon dusted churro on steroids! It is additionally drizzled with donut glaze and coco crisps!

Sour lemon cotton candy! Yes you read that right!!! Another pixar inspired delight!

You will find this stand in front of Bugs Land in CA Adventure.

While you're there! You can go through Woody's cereal box and into Bugsland.

Now this Dole Pineapple Whip donut is worth standing in line for!! There is only ONE, yes only ONE location you can find these donuts and it's a cart next to Sleeping Beauty's Castle. The cart begins selling donuts at 5PM and they sell out fast! This donut is filled with pineapple jelly with little chunks of pinball topped with marshmallow goodness!

If you're a fan of the movie "COCO" then head straight to "Ranchi el Zocalo." There you will find delicious film inspired dishes! The al pastor huarache is so full of flavors that burst in your mouth, but watch out!! They also serve it with a sautéed chile serrano, you might get as lucky as we did and it was extremely spicy! You can also get the coco mug, jamaica slushy and choco flan with Miguel's face on it! It's definitely a spot to consider for lunch or dinner! They have other options as well, such as nachos, burritos, etc.

Do you like carrot cake? Then indulge yourself in this carrot cake churro!!! Yes!! It's covered in this orange fairy dust and you dip it in a sweet cheesy raisin bath! You can find this at Disneyland near the haunted mansion.

We didn't finish tasting all the new pixar inspired dishes, but we have an excuse to return! Pizza port is now Pizza Planet and has a cheeseburger pizza that's topped with pickles that we need to return to try! As well as alien macaroons!

If you're just visiting Downtown Disney, you can still find some Pixar inspired treats! Like grape soda cake pops, inspired by the movie "Up!" and a pixar ball cake pop. As well as nemo and dori inspired candy apples!

Besides the delicious food!! I absolutely positively recommend you stay for the Pixar parade and Fantasmic! Both shows have been revamped and worth watching! A tip for watching Fantasmic is to line up early! Fantasmic is at 9PM and you can begin to line up at 7PM along the bridge in front of Pirates of the Caribbean and in front of Tom Sawyer island. You can also visit Tom Sawyer island via boat or canoe up until 5P, at that point it is closed to set up for fantasmic! The show lasts about 30min but you should stay put because its an amazing location to watch the fireworks and other projections!! This is where you'll need the sweater or blanket! The images and show are projected onto water shooting into the air and it gets really cold!

I am sure there's tons and tons more to Disney and CA Adventure that we missed and have yet to discover!!! These were ours and happy to share them with you all!
